Amazing 7 Month-Old Baby Swimming Underwater with Parents [Video]

It is quite remarkable how easily babies take to water. We forget that not so many months earlier in their ‘life’ they were in a very ‘watery’ environment and therefore the sensation of liquid against their skin isn’t unfamiliar or scary at all. We know that when born, babies have an instinct which can allow them to swim, but this is an instinct which disappears with time, forcing young children to learn how to swim all over again. Clearly babies around the 6-month-old mark will still have a good level of instinct left, which means you can play with them in the pool in relative safety. How great is it as new parents to be able to let your newborn splash around in the water and know they are having great fun? When so much of a fuss is made of preventing drowning accidents, isn’t this just a better way to protect your kids

Initially you wonder how much ‘solo’ swimming this little baby is going to do as dad seems to be very ‘hands on’ with his care for the baby. However you can see it is just a case of ensuring that confidence levels are good and then away we go! This little one clearly is very much at home under water and as is plainly obvious, there is no problem with it keeping its eyes open all the time. This is definitely a good sign and the look of wonderment on the baby’s face is a joy to behold. Even when the parents let go, this remarkable baby doesn’t panic and quite calmly swims up to the surface of the pool. What was good to know and what you can learn from the comments underneath the video is that this was not a chlorinated pool but a salt-water one instead, which certainly makes swimming easier, and is nowhere near as uncomfortable on the eyes

The Miracle of Human Creation

The miracle of life will never cease to amaze, whether it is human or another form of life. It is also something that we know how it is created, but we never really get to see what really happens, except when the occasional ultrasound scan is taken and a grainy black and white photograph given to us as a memento. I also look back to the days of biology lessons in school and remember seeing sketches of a baby in a womb, but it looked more like an alien than a real baby. How different things are today thanks to modern technology, CGI (Computer Generated Image) reproductions and a fuller understanding of what actually occurs during a pregnancy, this result is an amazing video. No longer do we need to look at fuzzy images in books when we can watch the miracle of life unfolding before our very eyes on a screen.

There is no need to go through a description of the whole process – you can see it all here. However it is difficult not to reflect once you have watched the video. How incredible life is and how we transform from an egg into a fully grown baby ready to start our life in the ‘outside’ world. The creator of this video clearly has a full understanding of the enormity of the creation of life as they have chosen a very stirring soundtrack to go with it. If you were in any doubt before, this is a very important and meaningful video. How cool it is as a parent to know that when it comes to explaining the birds and the bees, or facts of life to your children, you will be able to use such a fantastic video as this one.

Unbelievable 2-Year-Old Boy Swims Like a Dolphin

So most of you will now be reading this to find out what a merboy is. Well remember we ran an article on baby mermaids, which we called merbabies? You know what a mermaid is? Well then hopefully you will now understand what a merboy is. And if you aren’t sure such a thing exists, we suggest you watch this incredible video of Brahman ‘performing’ in a pool like we have never seen a two-year-old boy before, or girl for that matter. This boy is absolutely fantastic and has literally taken to the water like he lived in it and had done so all his short life. He shows no fear, no worries and seems to just love swimming around as though every kid could do it, as though nothing was unusual. However we think this young boy is very unusual and we really want you to see why.

That swimming pool definitely isn’t shallow, yet to swim to the bottom seems to be absolutely no problem for young Brahman. We do realize this is a yard pool and not a local communal pool, so it is not massive, but there again nor is Brahman. He seems quite confident and comfortable knowing he can climb out any time he wants, even if it just to get thrown back in by his dad! We couldn’t believe it when we saw that, but Brahmans seemed none the worse for his exploits and was just as happy to carry on as though nothing had happened. This young boy is definitely one of a kind and if we didn’t know better, we would expect to see scales on his legs and his feet turning into fins! Brahman the merboy has a certain ring to it….

Breathtaking Photos of Children Underwater Taken by Adam Opris

A couple of months ago we were delighted to come across a remarkably talented photographer, Adam Opris, who specializes in taking underwater photographs. Originally we were so impressed with his pictures of underwater yoga and pregnant women that we went on to feature some even more beautiful underwater images of wedding couples. Today we are delighted to bring you a new selection of underwater photographs, this time of young children, taken by Adam. We have been in regular contact with Adam ever since we first saw his photographs and of this new theme he tell us: “There are timeless moments in a child’s life, which they will remember forever. I have been blessed to witness several of these experiences—underwater! Looking back, I remember first-hand how much fun I had as a child when playing below the surface. Once I started photographing my maternity clients underwater, I realized that I wanted to capture children in their natural element as well! The looks of pure joy from these children motivated me to push the envelope even further, and create those “timeless moments.” After my first few water babies, I was so thrilled to be able to capture these playful, happy swimmers! There are quite a few challenges to photographing people underwater, but when it comes to kids, they are truly the exception. I found that as long as the child can swim, we can create magic!”

Baby Has Priceless Reaction to Mom Blowing Her Nose

There is seriously nothing better than a laughing baby, unless it’s a baby who can’t decide whether blowing your nose is terrifying or hilarious. This video went viral a little while ago so you may have seen it already, but we couldn’t resist posting it again for the benefit of everybody who might not have seen it yet. Special thanks to little baby Emerson for his awesome expressions that crack us up over and over again, and to Emerson’s mommy, YouTube user mandkyeo, for sharing her son’s adorable cuteness with us! If you haven’t checked this video out yet, you simply must. You will absolutely adore this baby’s hilarious startled looks when his mommy blows her nose, and his laughter afterwards.

Of all the “babies laughing” videos out there, this one might really be our favourite. Little five month old Emerson is just so terrified when his mommy makes that scary nose-blowing sound. He jumps back and flails his hands and his eyes get all big … I’d feel like a terrible person for laughing at him, if he didn’t start laughing immediately afterwards himself. And he does it over and over again! There’s no learning process where he stops being afraid of it the second time, or even the third, fourth, or fifth. And every single time he thinks it is just as funny afterwards. Don’t think we’re heartless here at Stylish Eve, laughing at an innocent baby’s fear. He’s obviously well cared for and perfectly happy, and his expressions just bring joy and laughter to your heart. So give yourself a little sunshine today and enjoy the innocence of a little baby’s laughter.
