24 Spooky and Uncanny Doppelgänger Lookalikes

Source: La Hutte de Jabba

Most of us have been caught up in a conversation at some point in our life when someone has either said “You remind me of someone” or “I’m sure we’ve met before”. It is always good ice-breaker at a party, but a chat-up line that too many women have heard time and time again. But what if the person you are talking to is actually being genuine? After all, everyone is supposed to have a doppelgänger, or almost perfect lookalike, somewhere in the world, either past or present. One evening I was watching a film and nearly fell off the chair when I spotted someone who looked exactly as I did, but he spoke with a broad American accent. Over the next half an hour I had more than half a dozen phone calls from friends asking if I had seen myself on television! I am sorry to say that actor was not George Clooney or Tom Cruise, and I believe he is now probably as obscure a person as I am

Father’s Fascinating Time-Lapse Photos of Son Taken Daily Over Four Years

Dad-Takes-Photo-of-Son-Every-Day-Over-4-Years-1

So, your name’s Steve and you have a newborn son called Ray. For the last four years you have been taking a daily photograph of yourself which you admit was an idea you borrowed from another person who had posted the results on YouTube. And then the idea strikes you that if you are going to take a daily photo of yourself, why not do the same with your son. Well we’ve seen the stop-motion video of you ageing and basically, over eight years, you don’t. There is many a man, and woman come to think of it, who will be eternally jealous that you seem to have got your hands on the elixir of life. Anyway, enough about Steve as it is Ray we are more interested in. What a brilliant legacy to leave your son and what fun he will have when he looks back at his early formative years, meticulously caught on camera by his dad

The advantage young Ray has over his dad is that at the start of this stop-motion project, you know the results are going to be visually striking. Babies change a great deal, turning into young children over the first four years of life. What is also quite fun with this project as an outsider looking in is the fact that if a photograph is taken every day, then there is no getting away with allowing your kid to wear the same clothes for more than one day! We really did like this kind of stop-motion as it has shown the subtle changes over the passage of time, all crammed into one three-minute video. We also realized towards the end that Steve has a great sense of mischief about him and a very wicked sense of humor. We don’t want to give the game away, so all we can do is tell you to keep your eyes peeled at around 2m23sec of the vide

Noah-Cyrus-New-Hairdo_01

Shine bright in my BLACK hair like a PINK diamond, Shine bright in my BLACK hair like a PINK diamond… Ahem… So sorry, Rihanna, for ruining the lyrics of your amazing song that way, but those words are perfect to describe the new hairstyle being rocked by one of our beloved teen celebrities. Who rocked what? It’s Noah Cyrus we’re going to talk about today, dear readers. She debuted a … a… Give me a few seconds to phrase it right! Ahem… Okay, let me say it! Miley Cyrus’s little sister is currently sporting jet black hair with a pink diamond shaved into it.

Yep, ladies & gentlemen, you read it right! And yep, again, this is why I chose Rihanna’s song, “Shine Bright Like a Diamond,” as an intro. And yep for the third time, her hair color was indeed honey blonde just a month ago. So what happened? Actually, I’d prefer that you sit before I answer this question. Are you seated? All right! Now, let me tell you the story of Noah’s shocking makeover. Don’t hesitate! Read on! Last November, Noah took the plunge; she buzzed one side of her head. Remind you of someone? Of course, it does…her big sister Miley, whose footsteps she obviously follows! The oldest of the Cyrus sisters, Brandi, was the one who unveiled the young actress’s half-shaved do on her Instagram account. She posted a picture of her newly shorn sis with the caption; “Lil sis @noahcyrus just one up’d

After barely a month, the little Cyrus went a step further in her makeover and dyed her blonde tresses jet black—yes, that is what you’re gonna see these days. The 13-year-old debuted her new black hair on the red carpet of DigiFest LA, The Largest YouTube Music Festival.

Then, just a few days ago, Noah decided to put the final touch on her new hairdo and shaved a pink diamond into it… Excuse me, dears, what was that? Did someone fall to the floor? Oh, my… It’s very shocking, I know. Who could have imagined that this adorable girl would opt for such an edgy hairstyle so soon, right? I suppose it was bound to happen, but already? Sigh

The “Doc” star posted a picture of her jet black hair with the pink diamond on its side to her Twitter account, but she quickly deleted it! Do you suppose she did that because she couldn’t handle fans’ criticism? Maybe. The important question to be asked right now, Stylisheves, is this: Do you think Noah’s new hairdo is Trashy or Trendy? Tell us in the comments below

Oh wow, wooow! This pixie cut makes J.Hud look more than AH-MAZING! Ahem… Yes, readers, J.Hud is Jennifer Hudson. And yes again, following in the footsteps of her Dreamgirls co-star Beyoncé, Anne Hathaway, and other A-list celebrities, she chopped those glamorous, long, dark tresses into a sassy, sexy, short pixie. Can you believe it? Does your silence mean you can’t believe it? Whatever… It’s true. The Oscar winner debuted her new short ‘do at the BET Black Girls Rock! event at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center on Saturday, Oct. 26. Let me tell you that Jennifer showed off not only her new hairstyle but also her super-slim figure, which she outfitted in a sexy little black dress. She completely rocked the pink carpet at that event: with her flawless figure, stunning haircut, and elegant LBD, she was sexy, chic, neat, and eye-catching

You know who loves her pixie even more than I do? Hudson herself. Here’s the evidence. At the premiere of her new movie, “Black Nativity,” at the Apollo Theater in New York City, when she was asked about the best part of wearing a pixie, the 32-year-old actress told Hollywood Life exclusively: “It’s so easy! Then I get to explore myself and find my new swag with this! You know, it changes your wardrobe, your style, your flavor, so I’m getting used to it!” Okay. If she’s getting used to her short haircut and loving it, then what are we supposed to do? Exactly the same

Pretty Christmas Tree Hairstyle That’s Easier to Do Than it Looks!

Tree-Christmas-Hairstyle

This is a multi-purpose style that can go subtle and elegant or festive, fun, and over-the-top! It’s a really simple process. You start with a small amount of hair tied back right on top of your head for the beginning of the Christmas tree hair net. You pull two small amounts of hair from either side of your head, split the existing ponytail into two, and tie both in hair ties. So for the second row you have two hair ties. For the third row, you split the two existing pony tails in half, tie the middle half together with a hair tie, and pull two more small pieces of hair from either side of your hair to join with the remaining hair from both ponytails. So for the third row you have three hair ties. Continue the process until you have as many hair ties as you want in your hair, and voila! You have a beautiful lacy holiday hair style

DIY No-Sew Tote Bag by Homey Oh My

DIY-No-Sew-Tote-Bag-1

If you are all fingers and thumbs when it comes to wielding a needle and thread, this is definitely the DIY project for you. At stylish Eve we are always on the lookout for clever projects that don’t require the skills of a time-served craftsperson to achieve a great result. Well thanks to this great project, detailed more fully at Homey Oh My!, we are able to show you how easy it is to create a stylish looking tote bag, without having to use a needle and thread. How cool is that? We think that this would be a great way for you, or even one of your children, to gain some confidence if you like DIY but are not sure you have the skills. What’s also great is that you get to choose the style and color of the bag (if you want to cheat a little!), which means you can perfectly accessorize your outfits with one or two of these great totes

DIY-No-Sew-Tote-Bag-2

As with many of our DIY projects at Stylish Eve, we don’t want to overwhelm you with a load of materials and tools, and we have tried our best here. The most important element is something called ‘Unique Stitch’ which is fabric glue that is as strong and durable as genuine stitching. The remainder of the items needed include canvas, a ruler, an iron, a rivet kit, an awl, faux leather handles with holes, Martha Stewart Satin Paint in Beetle Black, a pouncer and a roll of 1/8″ tape. From the pictures you will see that the most time-consuming element is creating the stripe effect on the material. Of course if you don’t have the patience of a saint, you can buy some pre-patterned canvas instead – we’re not going to tell anyone! However the end result is perfect and will look as good, if not better than any shop-bought tote bag
